Itinerary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Kampala, which is about a 1-hour drive. Check into your hotel and relax after your journey. Overnight: Hotel in Kampala Meals: None (Arrival Day)

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Mburo National Park, known for its rich birdlife and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, embark on a boat ride on Lake Mburo, getting up close to crocodiles and hippos. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting over 250 species, including Papyrus Gonolek and Brown-Faced Lapwing. In the evening, enjoy a game drive along the Lakeshore track and the Kigambara Loop to see herds of zebra, buffalo, eland, oribi, and topi. After breakfast, enjoy a game drive or a safari walk under the guidance of an armed ranger. The walk offers a chance for wildlife photography, particularly around the interesting Kopjes and grazing zebras. After breakfast, embark on your gorilla trek in the heart of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek takes you through steep, dense forest to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Observing these gentle giants in their peaceful environment is an unforgettable experience. The trek can take several hours, depending on the movements of the gorillas. This morning, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the scenic Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward to Lake George. Early this morning, enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. After lunch, drive back to Entebbe via Kampala, making stops at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers to watch traditional drum crafting and at the Equator for a photo opportunity.
